Some route recommendations
5 Roman passes, day tour, approx. 450 km
This demanding route goes from Lugano through 5 high alpine passes Lukmanier, Julier (St. Moritz), Moloja (Italy), Splügen and San Bernardino. And if the curves of the first three passes are enough, you can also come back directly to Lugano along the Comersee Lake. Have fun!
Centovalli - Lago Maggiore, approx. 200 km / 4 hours -
This winding route leads to Laveno (Italy), with the ferry to Intra and along the Lago Maggiore to the picturesque town of Cannobbio. From there you go down the valley to Santa Maria Maggiore and through Centovalli back to Switzerland to Ascona and through Monte Ceneri back to Lugano.
Sighignola - Lago di Lugano (approx. 115 km / 2.5 hours)
