Route Sketch Hotel Sturm
Some route recommendations:
The "Upper Rhön" approx. 200 km
The route leads you through the most beautiful part of the Hessian, Thuringian and Bavarian Rhön. Of course here you will find classics like "Checkpoint Alpha", the "Wasserkuppe" and the Kreuzberg. You'll only miss the large roads on this tour. Fine curves and then the Hochrhönstraße road - what a spectacular panorama!
The "Thuringian Forest" approx. 280 km
The Thuringian Forest, still unknown to many. Winding roads lead you past the old West German-East German border, through sleepy small towns and to such famous cities as e.g. Oberhof (winter sports center with bob track and ski jump ramp). Pure landscape is on the program - and why not have a Thuringian Bratwurst for lunch.
