characterized by many rivers and canals, forests and meadows, towns and villages and
magnificent churches. In the heart of Burgundy is located the place Le Villars.
It is a silent village on the waterfront of the river Saone.

Hotel:
Ruedi and Ilse Stahel-Zerlauth have restored there an inn which was built up in 1623.
Today it is a small but fine hotel with only five rooms. But each of these rooms has
its own character and has been furnished comfortably and with much love for the detail.

"La Bourgogne - l´art et le plaisir de vivre"! The art and the pleasure for living in
Burgundy are only expandable through one aspect. And this aspect is called: motor biking!

Romantic castle route
Departure from Ferme via Brancion to Cormatin. (Guided Tour of Chateau.)
Then on to Cluny (the birthplace of France), through the forests and past the Chateaux to Macon, the first town with southern flair in South Burgundy. Choose your own way back to Ferme!
